Report from the President With the support of our Henriette, I had several chances to spread the word on Esperanto during the last month. On the 24th of March, I gave a humorous talk about the problems of not knowing a national language, in which I mentioned Esperanto. A talk which directly relates to Esperanto will follow. On the 30th of March, Henriette, Jo and I and two "kids" went to a local GOATS festival. It is a youth music festival in the Central Coast of NSK, Australia. We spoke to many about Esperanto and I organised with a Lions Club to speak at their club in Toukley. After that, I went to the Central Coast Esperanto Club where we discussed plans for increasing the membership. Meetings of this club will be on the 1st and 3rd Sundays. We later went to a Scouts meeting but were too late. On the 1st of April I gave a talk at te Lions Club. They seemed to enjoy the presentation and had lots of questions. In May, (unrelated to the Federation) I will be at the "Verda Lernejo" in Japan. I will use that chance to spread the word about our Summer School. Finally, I've noticed the lack of "Profile" of the Esperanto Federation in the internet world and note that as something to correct very soon. ---------------------------- Raporto de la Presidanto.
Kun la subteno de nia V-Presidanto Henriette, mi havis kelkajn sxancojn propagandi Esperanton dum la lasta monato.
Je la 24a de Marto, mi faris humoran prelegon pri la problemoj de nescio de naciaj lingvoj en kiu parolado mi menciis Esperanton. Sekvos alia prelego kiu rilatas rekte al Esperanto.
Je la 30 de Marto, mi Heriette kaj Jo iris al "GOATS" festivalo. Tiu estas junulara muzika festivalo en la Central Coast. Ni parolis al multaj pri Esperanto, kaj mi organizis kun la Lions Club preegi cxe ilia Klubo en Toukley.
Post tiu, okazis la Central Coast Esperanto Club kunveno kie ni diskutis planoj kreskigi la membraron tie. Kunvenoj estos je la 1a kaj 3a Dimancxo se ne malkonvena pro federaciaj aferoj.
Ni ankau iris al skolta kunveno tiun tagon sed estis tro malfrue propagandi.
Je la 1a de Aprilo, mi prelegis pri Esperanto cxe la Lion Club. Ili sxajne jxuis la prelegon kaj demandis multe pri Esperanto.
En Majo, (nerilate al la Federacio) mi iros al "Verda Lernejo" en Japanio. Mi uzos tiun sxancon propagandi pri la Somera Kursaro.
Mi rimarkis la mankon de "Profile" de la Esperanto Federacio en la interreta lando kaj notas tiun por korekti baldau. |
